August!? Before we know it, we'll be up the point for the weekend for Memorial!
Although it was wet and chilly on the day of our Club Rounds, we had a great turn out. The points are accumulating and the competition is pretty tight in some of the categories!
These Club Rounds are not just about the competition though, they're a chance to build our community and have a family friendly beach morning. The committee certainly appreciates the effort put in by members who attend and always lend a helping hand, we have a wonderful Club.
In July we incorporated Meat Tray raffles into our Local's BBQ, with two draws, one at 5pm and the second throughout dinner service. We think this worked really well for the Club and its volunteers. We thank Dave for his continued support.
Long time member of the Club, Joel Mahon, lovingly handcrafted a frame for our logo which is now proudly hung in the Pool Room at the Rainbow Beach Hotel. Thanks boys from Cooloola Roofing for being there at the perfect time and assisting us in hanging!
